As the client's trusted advisor, we oversee all aspects of vertical construction projects, from strategic planning and concept analysis to design coordination and on-site supervision. Our team ensures seamless communication among stakeholders, streamlines workflow processes, and closely monitors progress to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets and quality expectation. Owners can rest assured knowing that their project is in capable hands, leading to a smoother construction process and instilling confidence in our ability to deliver quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain project files, logs, reports, and decision records in accordance with team standards
  • Provide financial oversight, including budget development, pay application review, change order evaluation, and cost tracking and forecasting cost impacts
  • Reviewing and processing common commercial construction paperwork including but not limited to proposed change orders, change orders, pay applications & invoices, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents
  • Utilizing approved templates, generate reports, agendas, meeting minutes and related documentation for each project
  • Participate in on-site construction observation, contractor coordination, and meeting documentation
  • Support quality assurance reviews and project risk identificaiton and mitigation efforts
  • Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to our project scope, budget, schedule, and performance expectations
  • Help manage implementation and refinement of internal processes for document control, schedule tracking, and stakeholder communications
  • Travel is required to address project-specific requirements and pursue new opportunities
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting design and construction projects in capacity of Owner's Representative, general contractor or construction manager, or M/E/P subcontractor
  • Ability to read and understand commercial building plans and specifications and identify general conformance with construction documents while in the field
  • Ability to understand and interpret regulatory requirements including building codes, standards and generally acceptable means and methods
  • Proficiency with standard business (Microsoft 365) and project management software and "tools" including: financial management tools, MS Project and similary, Procore and similar, Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, design phases, permitting, procurement, and contract administration
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across several concurrent projects
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail in reviewing budgets, schedules, submittals, and contractual documents
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proactive, dependable, and team-oriented, with a commitment to quality and accountability
  • Familiarity with capital projects for public sector or mission-critical facilities (e.g., fire stations, police departments, data centers, or municipal buildings)
  • Maintain a drivers license and legal right to drive for company business and provide adequate motor vehicle insurance
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
