Up to 50%. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Architect Expert to join our team a corporate capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing building elements across our organization at an expert level. Your primary focus will be ensuring the design, construction, and maintenance of our buildings align with Nestlé’s standards, all applicable laws and regulations, and deliver these at the lowest possible cost in a timely manner.
This role requires a strong background in construction or architectural engineering, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field.
- Provide expert guidance and leadership in architectural design, construction, and maintenance activities across Nestlé's buildings and facilities for new projects and ongoing infrastructure improvement.
- Coordinate with project team members and suppliers to ensure lowest cost solutions are deployed that meet all requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and designers, to develop and implement architectural strategies and standards.
- Review and approve architectural plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with Nestlé's design guidelines, local regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identify any potential issues, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Manage and oversee external architectural consultants, contractors, and vendors, ensuring their work aligns with Nestlé's requirements and expectations.
- Provide technical expertise and support to cross‑functional project teams during the planning and execution of building projects.
- Apply lean value design principles to all building projects to deliver required performance and specifications at optimal cost efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in architectural technology, materials, and sustainable practices, and make recommendations for their integration into Nestlé's building standards and projects.
- Collaborate with the Nestlé sustainability team to incorporate sustainable design principles and energy‑efficient solutions into building projects.
- Support the development and implementation of Nestlé's long‑term architectural strategy, considering factors such as scalability, flexibility, hygiene, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the project team, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural design and construction project management.
- Experience with multiple capital brown and green field projects exceeding $5MM capital individually.
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Extensive experience in clean room design, hygienic finishes, coating methodologies and similar.
- Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, ACC or Sketch Up.
