This position involves extensive interaction with various departments, including Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply, Sales, Technical Support, and Marketing. This role supports external customers, specifying engineers, designers, channel-partners, installers, contractors and end-users with the proper selection, installation, and application of nVent ERICO and ERIFLEX products.##
** WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:
*** Serve as an expert on product development, electrical product manufacturing processes, compliance, and end-use applications.
* Promote Facility Electrical Protection and proper use of nVent ERICO products through customer site visits.
* Deliver market intelligence and VOC insights to multi-functional project teams through interactions with customers.
* Provide technical expertise to engineer and adapt systems to customer specifications.
* Manage engineering projects for new products, enhancements, cost reduction, consolidation, and line extensions.
* Drive digital transformation by developing design, quoting, and inspection tools.
* Ensure technical accuracy in training materials, installation guides, manuals, and LMS content.
* Represent nVent on industry codes and standards committees.
* Assist customers with selecting and applying ERICO and ERIFLEX products.
* Support initiatives in E-mobility, Energy Storage, and Renewable Energy.##
** YOU HAVE:
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree from an accredited program required.
* Ideally 10+ years of proven experience in a related engineering field.
* Experience relating to electrical power systems, electrical connectors or other electromechanical products – ideally, Low Voltage Power Systems.
* Able to manage various projects in fast-paced, self-directed environments, and communicate effectively—both in-person and virtually.
* Both awareness of electrical design and safety standards (IEEE, ANSI, IEC, UL) and hands-on experience with electrical laboratory equipment.
* The ability to travel up to 20% for customer support and off-site testing, as needed.
