Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience using the Epic EHR system
? We’re seeking a Medical Scribe to support our clinical team by documenting patient visits in real time, streamlining workflow, and ensuring accurate, compliant medical records.

• Document in real time: Accompany providers during patient visits to accurately record patient histories, physical exams, and clinical assessments in Epic.

• Manage charts: Maintain complete and accurate patient charts by updating notes, recording procedures, and processing lab and imaging results.

• Assist with orders: Create and send referrals, lab orders, and imaging requests within the Epic system.

• Ensure compliance: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA standards.

• Support workflow: Communicate with providers and administrative staff to improve efficiency and accuracy in documentation.

• Epic EHR proficiency — must be comfortable navigating and documenting within the system.

• Strong typing and computer skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Solid medical terminology knowledge and understanding of clinical workflows.

• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities — able to stay composed and focused in high-volume settings.

• Education: High school diploma required; coursework or a degree in health sciences preferred.

• Experience: Prior medical scribe experience (especially in a fast-paced setting like an emergency department) strongly preferred.
