Experienced Stone Fabricator & Polisher – Granite & Quartz Countertops (Construction)

Our busy counter top shop needs an experienced fabricator/polisher. ShopB (our post-CNC shop) is built for hand finishing and quality control with two auto feed-through machines, two overhead gantry cranes, a bridge saw and spacious, well-lit benches.

• Profile, grind, sand, glue and polish granite, quartz and other stone surfaces.
• Cut and assemble mitered and built-up edges, join seams, and repair chips to meet exact specs.
• Operate hand tools and shop equipment, including the bridge saw and feed-through machines, and use the gantry cranes for safe slab handling.
• Keep your bench clean and follow all safety protocols.
• Help in other departments when needed.

• 3+ years experience in stone fabrication or polishing.
• Ability to read templates, operate grinders/polishers and deliver high-quality hand finishing.
• Attention to detail and the ability to stand and work with your hands for extended periods.
• Comfort lifting and moving slabs with assistance (our gantry cranes do the heavy lifting).
