Your role
REPAIR WORKSHOP MECHANIC is responsible for assembling/disassembling of mechanical/Industrial pumps according to a production plan. If you like working in a safe and friendly environment and have a mechanical aptitude this may be the place for you.
- Disassemble, clean, assemble, service and test mechanical parts. Able to follow standard step by step operating procedures via computer instructions on how to disassemble and reassemble.
- Ensure achievement of production targets on productivity, volume and efficiency.
- Ensure that the appropriate standards of behavior, performance and safety are maintained within the workshop.
- Ensure that the company’s health and Safety policy is adhered to with the aim being to maintain a safe working environment.
- Minimum one year experience in repairing any type of mechanical systems. Must have a mechanical aptitude. Automotive repair experience not required.
- After your training period you should be able to disassemble and assemble mechanical equipment into components, identify damages/faults, assemble components and test equipment performance. Must be able to use computer for minimal input into systems.
