What you can expect as an MRO Services TechnicianThese Technicians will be responsible for completing repairs on aircraft parts and components. This position requires the Technician to display a professional demeanor and create a work environment that fosters mutual respect between co-workers, customers and vendors. This challenging position requires the Technician to be a team player, working across various departments, while accomplishing tasks with minimal supervision and a strong sense of detail, quality and safety.
YourResponsibilities
- Ensure all work is done in a safe and professional manner, and in accordance with approved or acceptable technical data and work practices. Data may include manufacturer manuals, service bulletins, part specifications, CFR, Type Certificate Data Sheets, Airworthiness Directives, and other approved FAA data or technical data for use by the Repair Station.
- Comply with current Federal Aviation Regulations, Repair Station and Quality Control Manual Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure all necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders are properly executed.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping to promote a safe operation.
- If work is performed away from the Repair Station, follow all processes and procedures per the Repair Station Manual.
- Ensure proper tooling and equipment are utilized, calibrated, and in good working order for the maintenance task.
- Ensure repair and overhaul of articles and components is within the Repair Station authority and is inspected by the inspection department.
- Handle and tag all parts properly during repair and through completion.
- Perform incoming inspection to determine airworthiness prior to use for repair or modification.
- Ensure no defective, non-conformed, or un-airworthy parts are installed.
- Communicate effectively in English (speak, write, read).
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
High school diploma or equivalent required. A technical degree is preferred. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.
