Lead a High‑Precision CNC Operation

Full-Time Why This Role Lead a fast‑paced job shop specializing in complex, multi‑axis machining.
Set the bar for safety, quality, throughput, and cost in a high‑mix/low‑volume environment.
Mentor a talented team of machinists and programmers while advancing CI and lean practices.
What You’ll Lead Daily operations across production scheduling, machining, quality, and shipping.
Team development for CNC machinists and programmers.
Adherence to extremely tight tolerances and precision quality requirements.
Continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Production planning and workflow for multi‑axis CNC lathes and mills.
Safety, quality, and operational standard enforcement.
Process optimization with engineering and programming.
KPI tracking: productivity, machine utilization, and throughput.
Staffing, training, and performance management.
Quoting support, cost control, and plant profitability.
Must‑Have Qualifications7+ years in manufacturing leadership, preferably CNC machining.
Strong command of multi‑axis CNC machining (mills and lathes).Hands‑on experience with tight tolerances and complex components.
Proven shop operations and team management experience.
Quality control, process improvement, and lean manufacturing expertise.
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.Outstanding leadership, communication, and organization.
Preferred Former CNC machinist, programmer, or manufacturing engineer.
Background in job shop or high‑mix/low‑volume.
ERP/MRP system familiarity.
