As a Material Handler, you'll support daily production operations and help ensure products are prepared and shipped efficiently. You’ll work closely with the production team to meet customer demands and keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do- Packaging, handling, and protecting raw materials and finished goods
- Loading and unloading products for shipping and receiving operations
- Labeling materials returning to stock and returning raw materials to designated storage locations
- Assisting operators in order setup, including cutting cores, preparing corrugated materials, and general packaging
- Helping with the setup and operation of slitting machinery to meet customer specifications
- Inspecting materials (e.g., verifying gauge, width, and signatures) against work order requirements
- Unloading inbound vendor materials and conducting intake inspections
- Maintaining safety awareness and alertness on the production floor; cross‑training across various duties to support manufacturing operations
- Performing other duties and assignments as directed by management
- Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing setting preferred
- Tow motor / forklift experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and other measuring devices (rulers, calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, and scales)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and understanding of technical specifications
- Flexibility to adapt to different production functions and daily tasks
- Strict adherence to written safety procedures and guidelines
- Regular and punctual attendance

This position is on‑site in Solon and offers daytime hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
