You rally programmers and machinists, re‑sequence jobs, and tweak toolpaths to shave seconds without sacrificing surface finish. Your Mission Command daily operations across production scheduling, machining, quality, and shipping.
Coach and grow CNC machinists and programmers into a high‑performing team.
Guarantee conformance to ultra‑tight tolerances and stringent quality expectations.
Advance continuous improvement—streamline flow, cut waste, and boost OEE.Own planning and workflow for multi‑axis mills and lathes.
Champion safety, quality systems, and operational discipline.
Collaborate with engineering/programming to optimize machining processes.
Track and act on KPIs: productivity, utilization, and throughput.
Manage hiring, training, and performance management.
Support quoting accuracy, drive cost control, and improve plant profitability.
What You Bring7+ years leading manufacturing teams, preferably in CNC machining.
Expertise in multi‑axis CNC machining (mills and lathes).Experience delivering complex, tight‑tolerance components.
Demonstrated success managing shop operations and production teams.
Fluency in quality control, process improvement, and lean methodologies.
Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T.Exceptional leadership, communication, and organization.
Bonus Points Background as a CNC machinist, programmer, or manufacturing engineer.
High‑mix/low‑volume or job shop experience.
Exposure to ERP/MRP platforms.
