CNC Mill Operator

PPS is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Setup / Operator for a full-time opportunity with our manufacturing partner. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist with strong CNC milling, machine setup, and troubleshooting experience who takes pride in producing high-quality precision components.

• Set up and operate CNC mills to manufacture precision components according to blueprint specifications.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, work holding, and fixturing.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, job travelers, and setup sheets.
• Inspect parts throughout production to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Read, edit, and troubleshoot G and M code.
• Identify and resolve machining issues, including tool deflection, bowing, and warping.
• Maintain equipment, tooling, and a clean work environment.

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience

• Strong CNC milling setup and operation skills.
• Experience with Fanuc-based controls and G/M code editing
  .
• Extensive knowledge of tooling, work holding, and fixturing.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints and perform in-process inspections.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with 5-face milling applications is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
