Base pay range$61,000.00/yr - $63,000.00/yr
The Quality Control Department maintains data, records, and necessary testing results to support the quality of products. The Technician Level II role requires performing all necessary testing to identify the product’s accuracy. Personnel need solid background knowledge of chemicals, biochemicals, and/or molecular biology. The work is critical for the QC department and the company.
Responsibilities- Review incoming product and associated records; enter data into the inspection record if necessary.
- Follow up to obtain missing or incorrect information or documents.
- Determine all tests needed to identify the products.
- Establish correct detection methods.
- Document all test results on product traveler and in ERP system.
- Create specifications based on the product manager or designee’s instructions.
- Participate in answering questions related to general QC processes and product status.
- Participate in QC‑related SOPs creation.
- Develop in‑depth knowledge of the MP Biomedicals Quality System certified to ISO 9001:2015.
- Work closely with other QC staff to maintain efficiency.
- Participate in QA verification, investigation, and other quality‑related assignments.
- Participate in products’ final reviewing and releasing.
- Bachelor diploma.
- Specialization in chemicals, biochemicals, and/or molecular biology.
- 2 years or more related working experience required.
- Organized and initiative‑taking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility.
- Accurate and meticulous.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office products.
- Works in a lab setting on the factory floor.
- Sits at desk and computer.
- Appropriate PPE needed based on the product’s SDS requirement.
- Ability to walk to other departments and engage with other staff as needed.
- May occasionally lift or move light materials.
