Logistics Quality Manager

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Leadership & Strategy Develop and implement the quality strategy for logistics and distribution in the Electrical Connections segment.

Establish a multi-site Quality Management System (QMS) across the global Distribution Center locations.

Develop a Quality Playbook for Logistics to standardize processes and drive operational excellence in logistics and distribution.

Complaint Resolution Work with the Customer Service and Logistics teams to drive quick response of customer complaints.

Own the resolution of logistics quality issues through an effective root cause and corrective action process.

Implement and coordinate a robust containment process for immediate problem response.

Quality Improvement Lead Transportation supplier quality audits and improvement.

Integrate quality performance indicators at every DC and drive a Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) process for preventing quality escapes and reducing cost of poor quality.

Collaborate with the Logistics Leadership Team to deploy a quality culture that elevates customer experience and operational excellence.

Deploy a preventive quality system in logistics, including the use of FMEA, Control Plan, Layered Process Audits, and Error-Proofing.

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
5+ years in quality engineering roles.
3+ years working with logistics and distribution teams.

Proven leadership skills influencing multiple functions in a multi-site environment.

Previous experience implementing Quality Management Systems and acquiring or maintaining ISO-9001 or similar certification.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.

Solid understanding of FMEA, Control Plans, and Quality Audits.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills (including RCCA, 8D, and 5-Whys), coupled with collaboration, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

Ability to travel Domestically and Internationally up to 30%.WE HAVE:
