Position: Catering Captain – Senior

Location: Nestle – 30003 Bainbridge Road, Solon, OH 44139 (online applications only)

Schedule: Full‑time (hours and days may vary; details provided at interview)

Pay: $21.00 per hour (fixed rate)

Job Summary: Supervises Catering Department employees, prepares and serves food at functions, and may drive trucks to deliver food and beverages to catered events.

• Supervise catering department staff and assist with performance appraisals.
• Determine workload requirements from catering orders.
• Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements, address last‑minute changes, and resolve problems.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled catering functions.
• Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards at catered functions.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Clean equipment promptly and thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Follow sanitation and safety principles in handling food and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.
