A full-time Staff Pharmacist position is available in Somers Point, NJ, offering a dynamic work environment with a rotating schedule. This contract role is ideal for licensed pharmacists with strong clinical and communication skills, ready to support patient care in a retail pharmacy setting.
Schedule:
- Monday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Tuesday:
Off - Wednesday: 10:00 AM 8:00 PM or 12:00 PM 8:00 PM
- Thursday:
Rotating on/off - Friday:
Rotating opening or closing shift - Saturday:
Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM - Sunday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and patient safety
- Provide comprehensive patient counseling and medication education
- Administer immunizations in compliance with state guidelines
- Manage pharmacy workflow and supervise pharmacy technician support
- Ensure adherence to pharmacy policies and New Jersey state regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Availability to work the specified rotating schedule, including weekends
