Nurse Residency Program
New nurses hired into an acute care setting position, with one year or less of nursing experience, will be placed into our Nurse Residency Program upon hire. The program will encompass monthly paid education for the first year of employment. The goal of our program is to support new nurses in transitioning from student nurse to a staff nurse in the acute care setting.
The program is designed to be fun, as well as educational, and it will identify gaps in clinical knowledge and enhance clinical decision-making and critical thinking so that our new professionals can deliver the best quality care to our patients.
