As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Somers Point, NJ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence supports a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver s license is required.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of patients, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the healthcare location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and assisting visitors as needed.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
