Purpose:
The THV Clinical Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the safe and effective use of Edwards Lifesciences’ Transcatheter Heart Valve therapies across Egypt. This role involves direct case support, physician education, distributor coordination, and daily sales operations monitoring. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving patient outcomes and skilled in clinical engagement and commercial execution.
How you’ll make an impact:Clinical Support & Education
- Provide on-site clinical support during THV procedures across Egypt, ensuring optimal device usage and patient safety.
- Educate and train physicians, nurses, and cath lab staff on THV products, procedural techniques, and best practices.
- Support new site onboarding and proctoring coordination in collaboration with the medical affairs and training teams.
- Monitor and support distributor performance, ensuring alignment with Edwards’ standards and strategic goals.
- Track and report daily sales orders, inventory levels, and product availability.
- Collaborate with the distributor to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
- Assist in identifying new THV centers and support their application and qualification process.
- Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, Edwards’ policies, and ethical standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical support or medical device field, preferably in cardiology or structural heart.
- Strong understanding of cath lab procedures and environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Egypt.
- Experience with transcatheter valve therapies or interventional cardiology.
- Familiarity with distributor management and sales operations.
- Proficiency in SFDC tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
