Job Summary

Somerset Community College's Career and Technical Division invites applications for part-time instructors to teach a number of face-to-face Applied Technology programs.

Programs

• Heating and Air Technology
• Automotive Technology
• Aviation
• Electrical Technology
• Welding Technology
• Diesel Technology
• Computerized Manufacturing and Machining
• Electrical Technology
• Engineering and Electronics Technology
• Industrial Maintenance Technology

Job Duties:

• Foster an active and inclusive learning environment and utilize the learning management system (Blackboard) for communication and feedback.
• Must possess a strong commitment to student learning and be receptive to using active and engaged teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
• Demonstrate an interest in the mission of the comprehensive community college concept.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree in a relevant field and two to five years of work experience or equivalent.
• Some programs require additional certifications/licensure.
• Applicants should possess excellent computer skills and communication/presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience.
