The Bank Teller (Concierge Banker) is responsible for assisting the assigned Banking Center in meeting and/or exceeding branch profitability goals by generating new and/or managing existing customers and ensuring that efficient, professional, and quality VIP service is delivered through the handling of various financial transactions whether in person or by telephone.
OverviewThe Bank Teller (Concierge Banker) supports branch profitability by growing and managing customer relationships and by delivering professional VIP service through handling financial transactions in person or by phone.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain customer relationships by calling on prospective customers, identifying prospects, establishing suitable methods of contact, and determining appropriate products and/or services.
- Perform day-to-day operations to help achieve satisfactory scores on branch audits.
- Refer opportunities to ancillary lines of business.
- Assist customers with financial transactions.
- Cash checks within proper authorization levels and pay out money after verifying that signatures are correct, that written and numerical amounts agree, and that accounts have sufficient funds.
- Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips.
- Record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
- Place holds on accounts.
- Assist customers with questions, concerns, and explanations or demonstrations of bank products or services offered.
- Recognize and pursue opportunities to cross-sell products and services based on the customer’s needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide excellent customer service while exhibiting dedication to Forcht Bank’s mission, vision, and values.
- Ability to promote and cross-sell bank products and meet referral goals.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and banking information systems applicable to the area of assignment.
- Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers.
- Ability to work with a team and members of other departments.
- Ability to work with little direct supervision in carrying out the tasks and responsibilities assigned.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive documents or other confidential information.
- Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, ask questions as appropriate, and not interrupt at inappropriate times.
- Knowledge of English language structure, spelling, grammar, and ability to comprehend written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively in completing assignments.
- Knowledge of arithmetic and its applications specific to the position.
- Manual dexterity to handle and count coins and paper currency; use of hands and fingers.
- Ability to listen, understand, and communicate information effectively.
- Ability to operate standard business equipment and look at a computer screen for extended periods.
- Ability to travel to other locations as needed and to work on a flexible schedule that may include early/late hours or weekends.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds as required.
- May be required to attend activities outside the bank to stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and regulatory changes.

- Must comply with all Bank Secrecy Act rules, regulations and requirements.
