Manufacturing Engineering Technician I

Join to apply for the Manufacturing Engineering Tech I role at Hendrickson.

Support the weld/fab processes in the facility, troubleshoot and assist in problem isolation and solution. Provide back‑up support to paint/assembly and machining areas as needed.

• Apply concepts and details of gauging, fixtures, and tooling to assist in problem solving.
• Identify areas in which tooling, cleanliness, operation sequences, or forming consistency can be improved to increase throughput or product quality.
• Help in maintaining and controlling programming for all weld/fab areas.
• When necessary, evaluate existing tooling and fixturing to determine optimum method of repair or improvement.
• Provide support to production associates as they assume greater responsibility in manufacturing functions.

• Five to seven years’ experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Formal training in robotic systems, CNC controls, machining, and SPC.

• Ability to interpret prints, sketches, verbal instructions, and mathematical data to identify tooling, gauging, and fixturing.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Evaluate tooling and fixturing to determine optimum method of repair or improvement.
• PLC programming knowledge.
• Shift flexibility a must.
• FANUC Robotics background preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
