Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position requiring 1-2 years of acute care experience and AHA certifications including BLS and NIHSS.

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required (AHA certifications)
• 1-2 years of acute care experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys license verification required at time of consideration

• 295-bed acute care hospital setting in the ICU department
• Neuro specialty focus within the ICU
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment with every other weekend required
• Patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Hospital provides cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
• Serves an 11-county region in south central Kentucky
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
