Sales Account Manager - Key Accounts

Chism Automation is a leading provider of robotic and automated machinery, based in Somerset, Kentucky. We develop automated applications for regional manufacturers and are seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive growth with key accounts in Kentucky and surrounding states.

Sales Account Manager – Responsible for building relationships with large manufacturers (>5,000 employees) and managing key accounts across the region.

• Build new customer relationships
• Identify business opportunities
• Develop and implement strategies to generate leads
• Conduct customer visits to facilitate sales
• Improve and maintain CRM
• Demonstrate Chism Automation’s capabilities and scope professionally
• Document and understand customer needs
• Gather information and solutions to provide to applications engineer for quote preparation
• Effectively communicate with customers, account managers, and application engineers

• Strong technical skills (previous sales engineering or account management background preferred)
• 3+ years of technical sales experience
• Positive attitude and demeanor
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exceptional organization
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to travel up to 80% within region
