DescriptionThe Neuroscience Sales Specialist‑II holds overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. The role involves understanding customer needs, aligning marketing resources, supporting pull‑through activities, and embodying Intra‑Cellular’s vision of improving the lives of patients with neuropsychiatric disorders.
Job Responsibilities- Drive sales performance within assigned territory by contacting HCP offices and mental health community centers both in‑person and virtually, following compliance guidelines.
- Use allocated budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions based on customer needs while maintaining ethical conduct.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of the local market, practice structures, and key influencers, sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to resource allocation decisions across customers and regions, selecting programs and resources appropriate for each client.
- Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager and stakeholders to develop a local business plan that meets all objectives, capitalizing on formulary approvals and other opportunities.
- Work with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists to share best practices and common objectives.
- Manage administrative tasks including work hours, sales call data, customer communications, sample and expense reporting.
- Develop business plans informed by depth and breadth of customer needs, available resources, and product offerings.
- Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.

- 2+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical devices; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Experience in launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.
- Strong passion for improving patient lives, with a patient‑centric mindset.
- Commitment to high integrity and adherence to company compliance policies.
- Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent judgment, and strong collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to learn and adapt in evolving environments such as Covid‑19.
- Agility to adapt to telemedicine/virtual environments.
- Analytical skills to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
- Work hours may include meetings outside normal working hours; territories may require overnight travel.
- Domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings may be required periodically.
