Direct Care Professional

Attleboro Enterprises, Inc. serves the residential and day program needs of adult individuals with developmental disabilities and vocational rehabilitative needs in southeastern MA. The Direct Care Professional will assist program participants in developing daily living skills, attaining goals and objectives stated in the Individual Service Plan, and promoting a positive image in the community.

• Support, educate, and train residents in developing daily living skills including cooking and housecleaning.
• Promote healthy living by educating residents on diet and exercise.
• Facilitate community integration by transporting and supervising residents in activities including religious services, cultural events, recreational activities, banking, medical appointments and employment.

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• MAP certification or willingness to complete certification during the first 90 days of employment.
• Acceptable CORI record.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Respect for confidentiality of all communications required within job duties, including client/employee records and documents, and electronic transmission by voice, data, and wire.
• Experience working with multi-cultural/multi-lingual populations and multi-disciplinary teams.

Variety of hours available in our Lakeville, Swansea and Somerset residential homes. Starting Rate is $21.00 hourly; $21.50 with MAP Certification. 5% differential rate for weekend hours. This position may be eligible for AEI's benefits package including medical, dental, vision, Long Term/Short Term Disability and Life Insurance, 401K, PTO, Sick Time and Holidays.
