Introduction
Suppleo Education is an award-winning education recruitment agency who believe in building relationships on understanding and respect. We pride ourselves on providing an unparalleled quality of service to not only our schools, but our teachers and support staff at all levels across Wales and England.

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and compassionate School Administrator to work with a fantastic independent autism school based on the outskirts of Taunton. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional learning needs.

About the Role

You will work closely with our Senior Administrator to ensure the smooth running of the school’s daily operations. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, and you’ll play a key part in supporting staff, students, and families. You will have to provide an enhanced DBS on the update service, or this can be completed through ourselves.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high‑quality administrative support across the school

* Work collaboratively with the Senior Administrator on daily tasks and wider school operations

* Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and external agencies

* Maintain accurate records and support with compliance processes

* Learn and use school systems confidently (training provided)

* Uphold safeguarding procedures and maintain a high level of awareness at all times

What We’re Looking For

* Previous administrative experience (school experience beneficial but not essential)

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment

* Confidence working around children with additional learning needs

* A positive, flexible, and team‑focused attitude

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Why Join Us?

* Supportive, friendly team environment

* Opportunity to develop your skills within a specialist setting

* Clear pathway to a permanent role after 15 weeks

* A role where your work genuinely makes an impact

If you’re ready to bring your skills, warmth, and initiative to a school that values every child and every staff member, we’d love to hear from you
