Position: Construction Project Manager (Permanent)
Location: Bruton

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Build by Sets Ltd renovates characterful homes and Listed buildings, mostly within a 30-mile radius of Bruton in Somerset - private residential projects ranging upwards from £250k.

We strive to build high quality finishes and take pride in providing our clients with a market-leading customer experience. Due to a rapidly increasing workload, we are looking to engage an experienced Project Manager to work with our Senior Project Manager to ensure we continue to build to the highest standard of finish within programme and on budget.

The Role includes managing 2-3 projects concurrently, varying from Listed building renovations to contemporary extensions, and full refurbishments which will require:

• Daily site presence across multiple projects

• Single point of contact for clients, architects and specialist trades

• Maintaining high quality standards

• Managing Health & Safety on site

• Managing complex sites — Listed buildings, access issues, bespoke finishes

• Following our processes and suggesting improvements

• Managing programme and progress on site

• Reporting on site progress internally and externally

• Controlling the flow of information and document control, including drawing management

• Problem-solving in real-time

About You - We are looking for 3–5 years’ experience managing high-end residential renovations and extensions for period properties - Listed building experience and knowlege of Pro Core valuable. We would consider a Site Manager looking to progress into a Project Management role.

• Genuine understanding of traditional construction and contemporary work

• Ability to read and challenge architectural drawings

• Comfortable dealing with conservation officers and planning constraints

• Clean driving licence — you'll be mobile across three counties

• SMSTS or willingness to obtain it

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
