Overview

Protocol Education are working with Secondary Schools across Bristol and North Somerset to appoint enthusiastic and reliable Unqualified Teachers to join their teams. If you're an aspiring teacher, or have childcare experience (e.g. sports coaching, youth groups, summer camps, tutoring), then this role is ideal for you. These roles are a brilliant first step into education or a fantastic way to build on your existing experience.

About

the Role

As an Unqualified Supply Teacher, you will be called upon to cover staff sickness that has hit our partner schools that morning; however, after building relationships with schools near you, our partner schools will often ask to pre-book you, or take you on long-term. Joining Protocol Education allows you to build relationships with our partner schools, learn their departments and get to know the students who you support.

Additional Information
  • Pay: £100-£110 per day (£130+ if you hold QTS / have a PGCE)
  • Start Date:

    ASAP - we can get you cleared in 20-25 days
  • Contract Type:
    Full-time and part-time available
  • Hours:

    8:15am - 3:15pm
  • Location:

    Bristol and surrounding areas (driving is valued but not a requirement)
Responsibilities
  • Supervise pre-set work in line with the school's guidelines
  • Support pupils to complete work to the best of their ability
  • Manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • De-escalate situations calmly and follow safeguarding procedures
  • Collect and return completed work at the end of each lesson
  • Report any safeguarding concerns appropriately

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
