Prospero Teaching are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Street, Somerset, for Term
6. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a supportive environment where children's wellbeing, creativity, and progress are at the heart of everything they do.

• Full-time Year 5 Class Teacher
• Covering Term 6, starting 1st June 2026
• Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Working alongside a supportive SLT and year group team
• Paid to the Main Teacher Pay Scale (MPS)

• Located in the vibrant town of Street, Somerset

• Excellent behaviour and a collaborative staff culture
• Supportive leadership committed to staff development and pupil success

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Has experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and a pupil-centred approach
• Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to high-quality teaching
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong references covering the last two years as a minimum
