Minibus Driver

What skills and experience we're looking for This role would suit candidates looking to work a split shift with hours at the start and end of the day, where every day is different and you can make a difference to the students and staff, as well as the wider school community. We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

• To drive a school minibus to transport students safely to and from school
• To take responsibility for the safety, comfort and welfare of the students
• To take responsibility for all regular safety checks and condition of the school minibus

• Has a full clean driving licence category D1 or category PCV
• Has a willingness to undertake regular minibus training
• Has 2 years driving experience and is confident in driving a minibus or similar e.g. large van

• Part time hours with term time only (plus INSET days) working days
• Voluntary pension scheme through Somerset County Council
• Onsite parking (on a first come first served basis)
• Training and CPD in safeguarding, health and safety and other relevant courses
• Strong and supportive leadership, who place value on learning beyond the classroom
