KS3 Teacher with SEND Experience
Location: Street, Somerset
Pay: £140 to £168 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full‑time, Fixed Term (September to December 2026)
We're working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Street that is looking for a dedicated KS3 Teacher to join the team from September until December 2026
. This role is perfect for a teacher who has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and is passionate about creating an environment where every learner can thrive.
- Delivering engaging lessons to KS3 pupils, adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
- Supporting students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Creating a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Working closely with the SENCO, support staff and families to provide the best possible outcomes for pupils.
- Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning journeys.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has previous experience teaching pupils with SEND
, including adapting lessons to meet a variety of additional needs. - Has experience teaching Key Stage 3.
- Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
