Social Workers required for work within the Adult Learning Disabilities Team in the Shepton Mallet area of Somerset. Excellent rates of pay up to £38ph. 3 month minimum contract but possibility to extend, 37 hours per week. Exciting opportunity in a lovely area with good transport links from M5 for neighboring authorities. Flexible hybrid working arrangements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced social worker to join the Adult Learning Disabilities Team in the Shepton Mallet area of Somerset. You will be involved in comprehensive assessments and safeguarding work that will identify real outcomes for our customers that will enable them to remain as independent as they are able within their community.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join the Adults & Learning Disabilities Team. Candidates will be carrying a complex caseload to enable people with Learning Difficulties to live as fulfilling and independent a life as possible, which includes being part of the community and have the opportunity to gain employment.

Assessment and personalisation of care packages for adults with learning disabilities. Duties include assessments, reviews, personalised budgets, person centred care planning, provision of care packages, liaising with other services, safeguarding adults etc.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
