The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer (3+ PQE) to join a well-established and growing property team.
This role offers the opportunity to handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, with scope to work on more complex transactions depending on experience.
We anticipate candidates with 3+ years’ PQE who are confident managing their own caseload independently.
Those with 5+ years’ PQE and experience handling complex conveyancing matters are particularly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Advising on new builds, shared ownership and equity release matters.
• Dealing with complex transactions including:
o Deeds of grant
o Easements and restrictive covenants
o Assignments and declarations of trust
o Setting up residential leases
o Building Safety Act considerations
• Investigating and resolving title issues.
• Liaising with clients, lenders, agents and third parties to ensure smooth progression of matters.
• Delivering a professional, efficient and client-focused service at all times.
Skills & Experience
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer (3+ PQE).
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Strong drafting and technical skills, particularly in relation to complex title matters (for more senior candidates).
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client care.
