Technical Operator - Nights

Are you technically minded and looking to grow your career in food production? We are looking for a Technical Operator working nights shift to join our friendly and fast‑paced team at our Crewkerne site.

• Demonstrate a commitment to Health & Safety by working in a safe manner, role‑modeling safety behaviours, challenging unsafe practices, rectifying unsafe conditions and escalating when support is needed.
• Actively support the quality management system, ensuring that all relevant controls and procedures are completed effectively to validate food safety controls and exceed customer and consumer expectations.
• Understand, adhere to and lead good manufacturing practices and company standards of hygiene, PPE, and dress code; role‑model a "Clean as You Go" approach and lead workplace organisation and visual management standards.
• Operate and optimise equipment and priorities to meet production demand and deliver the highest quality products.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of downtime and raw material usage.
• Undertake advanced/complex fault‑finding, decision making and rectification on equipment; identify root cause and, when required, escalating to engineering.
• Work across the team, ensuring effective handovers to understand common challenges and identify investigations that may help most.
• Train, validate understanding, coach and mentor others to build capability.
• Energise the team and demonstrate a consistently enthusiastic approach, taking action quickly and encouraging others.
