CNC Setter / Operator

Job Location:

Crewkerne, Somerset

Salary: £31,258.88 - £37,441.48 per annum (Basic salary £25,007.10 - £29,953.18 per annum, 25% shift allowance)

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, rotating shift schedule as follows:

• Week 1:
  Monday 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Week 2:
  Monday 2:00 pm – 12:00 am, Thursday 2:00 pm – 12:00 am

• Set and operate CNC sliding heads and grinders
• Complete full tooling set‑ups
• Load and edit CNC programs
• Carry out first‑offs and in‑process inspections
• Keep machines running smoothly with routine maintenance
• Maintain excellent quality, safety and 5S standards

• Experience with CNC machinery
• Setting and operating experience
• Confidence reading and working from drawings
• Problem‑solving mindset and solid communication skills
