Community Nurse (Full Time Locum) – Portishead
Job
At present, Dream Medical requires a Community Nurse for a full‑time locum position. This is initially for a minimum of 2 weeks and is due to commence as soon as possible.
Required Competencies- Wound care including pressure ulcers
- Venepuncture
- Obtain samples
- Catheterisation – female, and if competent in male and suprapubic
- Bandaging
- Holistic assessment
- Administration of IVs
- Compression bandaging
- Doppler assessments
- Palliative care
- NMC registered Nurse with up‑to‑date certificates of competencies for the above skills
- Enhanced DBS certificate issued within 1 year
- Mandatory training in BLS, Safeguarding, First Aid, Information Governance and Infection Control
