Based around Taunton in Somerset, the team operates in an area nestled between the Quantock and Blackdown Hills and within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast. This is a farm-only practice with a strong reputation and an experienced team. They offer autonomy to shape clinical standards and lead service development, with a focus on your interests and professional growth.
Responsibilities- Take on routine fertility work and play a key role in shaping clinical direction.
- Develop and lead clinical standards, with opportunities to pursue post-graduate qualifications or focused CPD.
- Engage with farmers and participate in discussion groups and training sessions.
- Work with vet techs and ATT staff to support clinical work and allow focus on core duties.
- Contribute to a diverse caseload including dairy herds, beef, sheep, and young stock.
- Share out-of-hours commitments on a light 1-in-6 rota.
- Experience as a farm vet with the ability to lead and shape clinical direction.
- Interest in CPD and continued education; support for postgraduate qualifications.
