Working Hours:

Week 1 Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 / Week 2 Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 and Saturday 08:00 - 12:00

About the Client

Simon Acres Group LTD are representing a respected Independent Builders Merchant that sells a wide range of quality products to both professional tradespeople and the public. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading supplier delivering excellent service to their trade and retail customers.

About the Role

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to maximise sales and margin for the Company and Build strong relationships through face-to-face contact or over the telephone. To ensure correct documentation is used, follow due process in a timely manner and to adhere to all company policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal with all customer queries as professionally and quickly as possible taking responsibility for the start to end sales process

Ensure a flexible service is provided to customers in the showroom, or in customers homes

To ensure all customers are politely and efficiently served to guarantee customer satisfaction

Provide customers with advice and guidance on the selection and use of products

Drive sales forward using the appropriate selling techniques

Ensure a flexible service is provided

All enquiries and quotations are to be priced quickly and efficiently using market and system information

Requirements /

Skills:

Full driving licence

Experience with in a merchant/plumbing/heating background

IT skills are Essential

Excellent verbal communication skills both with customers and colleagues

Be organised in prioritising workload effectively

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Maintain a good knowledge of health and safety policy and procedures at all times
