Hoop Recruitment are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Front Door service / Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub in North Somerset. This is an exciting time to be joining the MASH, which acts as a first point of contact for Children's Social Care enabling members of the public and professionals to raise concerns about the welfare of Children. This role is an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend.

Pay rate for this role is set at £38 per hour Umbrella. Full time candidates preferred.

• Risk assessment of contacts / referrals to the MASH
• Early identification of those at risk including multi-agency strategy discussions for decision making and safeguarding actions
• Carrying out initial visits to families in crisis where a referral has been received
• Triage the family then pass over to the initial directions team

• A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
• DfE compliant

• 20 years’ experience of the Social Work market
• Your local agency based in Cardiff
• Welsh-speaking consultant available should you wish to converse in Welsh throughout your job search
• PAYE and Umbrella payroll options available – you choose!
• Dedicated point of contact (support team to cover whilst on leave)
