A & Associates is seeking dependable and safety-minded Material Handlers for manufacturing opportunities in Somersworth, New Hampshire
.

Material Handlers are an important part of the production operation. In this position, you will help ensure materials, components and finished products are safely and accurately moved, staged and available where they are needed.

Previous manufacturing, warehouse or material-handling experience is helpful. Candidates who are dependable, safety-conscious and willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

• Receive, move and stage materials throughout manufacturing and warehouse areas
• Supply production areas with necessary materials and components
• Load and unload materials as assigned
• Move raw materials, components, work-in-process and finished products
• Stage materials in designated production, warehouse and storage locations
• Safely use pallet jacks, carts and other authorized material-handling equipment
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities
• Support inventory counts, cycle counts and material verification
• Identify and report damaged materials, shortages and inventory discrepancies
• Properly identify and label materials
• Maintain required material and inventory documentation
• Perform required equipment and safety checks
• Keep work and storage areas clean, organized and safe
• Follow applicable PPE, workplace safety, quality and operational procedures
• Work cooperatively with production, warehouse and material-handling teams to support daily production requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
• Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment
• Willingness to follow all established safety procedures and required PPE standards

Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, inventory or logistics experience is preferred.

Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn may also be considered.

This position works in an active manufacturing environment and may involve production equipment, material-handling equipment, forklift and pedestrian traffic, elevated noise levels and changing temperatures.

The position may require prolonged standing and walking as well as bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting and moving materials throughout the workday.

Pay Range: $17.00–$19.50/hour | Full-Time | Primarily 1st & 2nd Shift some 3rd shifts | Somersworth, NH
