Seeking a licensed School Psychologist to support an elementary school serving grades K-8 in Somerton, AZ. This contract position runs through the current school year (ASAP to 5/27/26) with a preference for full‑time applicants; part‑time may be considered if full‑time availability is limited. The role requires onsite presence, as only onsite candidates will be accepted as of 12/17.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades K through 8
- Provide consultation services to educators, parents, and administrators
- Develop intervention strategies and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring student safety and well‑being
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant regulations and standards
- Valid Arizona Psychologist license
- Educator credential in Arizona
- IVP fingerprint clearance card required and must be included with application materials
- Experience working with elementary‑aged students and knowledge of K‑8 educational practices
- Strong assessment, consultation, and crisis management skills
