Tax Director

Salary: Up to $350,000 |
Hours: 40-45 per week

We're partnering with a leading advisory firm seeking a Tax M&A Director to lead tax due diligence, transaction structuring, and strategic tax planning for middle-market and private equity-backed businesses across the U.S.

• Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements
• Advise on M&A structuring, corporate reorganizations, and transaction planning
• Identify tax risks, opportunities, and value-enhancement strategies
• Provide expertise in ASC 740, federal and multi-state taxation, and corporate tax compliance
• Partner with business owners, CFOs, private equity sponsors, and executive leadership teams
• Mentor staff and help grow the firm's transaction advisory practice

CPA required (MST or JD/LLM preferred)

10+ years of tax, transaction advisory, or public accounting experience

Deep expertise in:

• M&A Tax Structuring
• ASC 740
• Corporate & Multi-State Tax
• Corporate Reorganizations
• Partnership & Corporate Taxation

Experience supporting middle-market, founder-owned, family-owned, and private equity-backed companies in industries such as Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, Healthcare, Professional Services, and Business Services.
