Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Technical Product Manager (full-time)

About Quantivly. Quantivly’s mission is to increase access to medical imaging and improve imaging care. Spun out of Boston Children’s Hospital, Quantivly is a pioneer in the emerging AI for Operations category. We help radiology departments replace anecdotal, intuition-driven decisions with data-driven insights, simulation, and intelligent automation.

We build software for imaging operations—not clinical diagnosis—and deploy it in complex, real-world hospital environments. As we scale, strong product execution is critical to delivering value to customers quickly and reliably.

Role overview

We are looking for a hands‑on Technical
Product Manager with a strong bias toward product execution and product operations.

You will report directly to the CEO/CTO and act as the connective tissue between Engineering, Design, Customer Experience, and Commercial teams. You will own the product backlog and day‑to‑day execution while contributing to roadmap definition and product discovery.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning strategy into shipped software and thrives in close collaboration with engineers.

What you will do

Product execution & operations

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects customer needs, business priorities, and technical constraints
  • Translate product ideas and requirements into clear, actionable tickets (user stories, acceptance criteria, specs)
  • Run sprint rituals with the development team (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews)
  • Work day-to-day with engineers to clarify requirements, unblock progress, and ensure high-quality delivery
  • Partner with the CTO and Engineering Lead to improve product delivery processes, velocity, and predictability

Product discovery & roadmap

  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to understand pain points, workflows, and desired outcomes
  • Contribute to roadmap definition and prioritization based on impact, effort, and strategic value
  • Conduct lightweight product discovery: requirements gathering, scoping, trade-off analysis
  • Define clear success metrics for features and initiatives
  • Work closely with the UX/UI designer to prototype solutions, validate ideas, and refine workflows
  • Ensure shipped features are usable, coherent, and aligned with real operational workflows in hospitals

Go‑to‑market & communication

  • Collaborate with Commercial and Customer Experience teams to ensure features deliver the intended customer and business outcomes
  • Contribute to customer‑facing documentation, release notes, and newsletters
  • Clearly communicate product changes internally and externally

About you

  • 4+ years of experience working on a Product Development team in a data‑heavy environment (analytics, platforms, automation, or similar)
  • Proven track record of shipping meaningful features, not just defining them
  • Strong experience working closely with engineering teams in an agile environment
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making pragmatic trade‑offs
  • Detail‑oriented, structured, and execution‑focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathy for users and teammates

Background

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with B2B SaaS or B2B AI products strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with venture‑backed startup environments
  • Experience in healthcare, medical imaging, or working with hospital systems
  • Exposure to building AI‑powered features (ML pipelines, generative AI, analytics)
  • Comfort using SQL and/or Python to explore data or validate assumptions
  • Experience setting up or improving agile product operations
  • Uses AI tools to improve day‑to‑day productivity (documentation, prototyping, analysis)

Working locations & additional information

  • Location : Based in our Somerville, MA office. We strongly favor hybrid candidates able to be in person at least 2 days per week, but will consider exceptional remote candidates.
  • Employment Status: Full‑Time Employee with benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with matching)
  • Sponsorship: Quantivly does not sponsor visas at this point : you must be authorized to work in the United States.
