Director of Operations
Hawkeye Hospitality – Director of Operations at Hawkeye Hospitality Group. Key Responsibilities- Leadership & People Operations
- Lead management onboarding while upholding Hawkeye culture and operational standards.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching for managers and hourly teams.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local regulations, including Serv Safe and allergen certification requirements.
- Perform bi-annual performance evaluations and support ongoing leadership development.
- Maintain proactive staffing levels and advance scheduling for all locations—minimum of three full-time managers per restaurant.
- Manage and validate PTO requests accurately within payroll systems.
- Enforce professional image, uniform, and conduct standards.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor future leaders across the organization.
- Maintain detailed corporate operational reporting, including any violations or concerns.
- Restaurant Operations & Guest Experience
- Uphold standards for cleanliness, food safety, and facility maintenance.
- Maintain current licensing, training postings, and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to guest feedback with urgency while analyzing trends to drive improvement.
- Oversee asset management, equipment maintenance, and vendor coordination.
- Partner closely with General Managers to ensure operational consistency and accountability.
- Financial Performance & Cost Control
- Monitor and communicate weekly performance across all locations.
- Control costs including food, beverage, labor, utilities, and supplies.
- Support strategic planning and execute operational improvements that enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Contribute to menu pricing strategies and revenue optimization initiatives.
- Achieve established performance goals.
- Implement process improvements to drive greater profitability and long‑term brand success.
