Formulation Scientist supporting early-stage product development focused on dried powder formulations via lyophilization and spray drying techniques.
Responsibilities- design and execute mixing protocols
- produce and characterize dried powders
- support process scalability and tech transfer
- and establish formulation workflows
- maintain rigorous documentation and perform stability studies to ensure product robustness.
- BS or MS in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field;
- up to 4 years of industry experience for RA II;
- strong understanding of physical chemistry, materials science, and characterization techniques (e.g., DSC, TGA, microscopy);
- ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication skills.
- experience with solid-state analysis, stability testing, and scaling of formulation processes.
early-stage platform development in biopharma, focus on dried powders, process optimization, scalability, and stability assessment, based in Cambridge MA.
