- Provide outstanding customer service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Greet guests warmly and assist with inquiries, reservations, or concerns.
- Seat guests according to guidelines, maintaining seating rotation and occupancy restrictions.
- Monitor and manage the waitlist during peak times, seating parties based on availability and volume.
- Continuously update empty and turning tables in Toast Tables, notifying servers of newly seated guests.
- Be knowledgeable about the food and beverage menu, including new releases and seasonal offerings, to make informed recommendations.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of takeout and retail transactions accurately, including Grubhub orders, through the Toast system.
- Manage phone duties, handling inquiries and inputting phone takeout orders.
- Replenish retail beer and merchandise throughout the shift to maintain attractive displays.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, particularly in high-contact areas.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down events, and support the taproom team.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the taproom and enhance the guest experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Has strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Comfortable taking on tasks as assigned by the hospitality management team to ensure daily Front of House/kitchen operations.
- Be on time for scheduled shifts.
- Available for nights and weekend shifts of 5 hours or more.
- Must have Saturday and/or Sunday and some holiday availability.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist and use your hands and arms.
- Knowledge of Toast and Grub Hub as a cashier/receiving or placing customer orders a plus.
- Mass TIPS certification or equivalent alcohol safety certification (Opportunity for completion will be provided if needed)
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned work location.
