Responsibilities- Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting and cross‑selling banking products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Proactively prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, and community engagement.
- Meet the financial needs of customers, including transactional, servicing, and product requirements.
- Provide an elevated customer experience with personalized, seamless, and attentive service.
- Foster customer loyalty by addressing concerns and providing timely resolutions.
- Engage customers through digital platforms to enhance interactions and educate them on self‑service options.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers in person, over the phone, or through digital channels.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
- Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance.
- Support nearby branch locations based on business necessity.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education; business management, finance, or related field – required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent demonstration through experience, training, military service, or education – preferred.
- 3+ years of experience selling products and/or services in an incentive‑based environment – required.
- 12+ months experience in retail banking sales, financial services sales, or consultative relationship sales with proven success establishing new customers and deepening relationships – required.
- 12+ months of Santander experience related to the role, endorsed by district executive, district operations manager, or region president – required.
- 12+ months customer service experience within a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment – required.
- Established relationship‑building skills focused on customer experience and loyalty.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Proven track record in sales and cross‑selling.
- Collaborative team orientation.
- Excellent communication, consultative and influence skills, verbal and written.
- Professional image and credible presence.
- Proficiency with digital tools and technology for customer engagement.
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Risk awareness and escalation competence.
- Fast‑paced multitasking ability.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Flexibility to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- No certifications required.
- Established work history or equivalent through experience, training, military service, or education.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Minimum: $38,250.00 USD
Maximum: $59,000.00 USD
