Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions)

Join Comparion Insurance Agency as an Insurance Agent in our Somerville, MA office. Success in this role will require building a strong local network and in‑person relationships within the community.

• Typical training salary: $55k – $65k per year
• Base salary plus bonuses and uncapped commissions: first year total compensation ranges from $55k to $75k
• Top performers can earn over $100k in their first year

• Uncapped pay including base salary and bonuses, renewal commissions each year

• Build and leverage a strong local network of clients.
• Form in‑person relationships in the community.
• Convert prospects into customers by providing tailored insurance solutions.
• Manage time and organization to meet sales goals.
• Represent and promote Comparion’s insurance products.

• Previous employment in a sales role with proven success in converting prospects.
• State insurance license in Property & Casualty and Life, or willingness to obtain one.

• Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Well‑developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
• Familiarity with finding, building, and growing leads and customer base.
