Job Responsibilities The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment in accordance with local and national codes.
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics
* Install conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, lighting, and electrical devices
* Troubleshoot electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues
* Ensure all installations are compliant with the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes
* Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components
* Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety standards
* Assist in maintaining electrical parts stocking levels to ensure proper parts are on hand.##
** Requirements & Qualifications
*** Valid TDLR Journeyman Electrician license (TDLR - Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) or better
* 3+ years of commercial electrical experience
* Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
* Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
* Must be able to operate mobile equipment (aerial lifts, scissor lift, boom lift, etc.)
* Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform quality installations
* Ability to work in outdoor environments
* Computer literate:
Microsoft Applications and CMMS software
* Strong manufacturing knowledge and understanding of the procurement/supply chain process
