Quality Dental Care is seeking a skilled, patient focused Certified Dental Assistant to bring confidence, warmth, and clinical excellence to our in person team in Somerville, New Jersey. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Certified Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Assistant, or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who wants meaningful hands on work across preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and specialty procedures. You will be valued as an essential clinical partner, supported by a collaborative team, and compensated at $31 to $34 per hour .

What You Will Do:

• Deliver exceptional chairside assisting and four handed dentistry support that helps patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visits.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and patients for general dentistry, restorative dentistry, periodontal care, endodontics, Implant dentistry, Invisalign and cosmetic procedures.
• Assist the dentist with crowns, temporary crowns, dental implants, root canals, impressions, fluoride treatments, and other clinical procedures.
• Take and process dental X rays in accordance with certification requirements, safety standards, and practice protocols.
• Support preventive care by reinforcing oral hygiene instruction and assisting with dental prophylaxis, coronal polishing, sealant placement, and periodontal services as permitted.
• Maintain organized operatories, accurate clinical documentation, sterilization standards, and a smooth patient flow throughout the day.

What You Will Bring:

• You hold current certification as a Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Assistant, or comparable credential required for the role.
• You are X ray certified and consistently follow radiation safety, infection control, and sterilization best practices.
• You bring strong chairside assisting experience in a general dentistry setting and can anticipate the needs of both patients and providers.
• You communicate with empathy and professionalism, helping patients understand treatment steps and feel at ease.
• You are dependable, detail oriented, and energized by contributing to a positive, efficient clinical environment.

Preferred Clinical

Experience:

• Expanded functions experience, including temporary crown fabrication, coronal polishing, sealant placement, or fluoride treatments, will help you make an immediate impact.
• Experience assisting with implants, nitrous oxide, periodontics, crowns, and endodontic procedures is highly valued.
• Confidence taking impressions and supporting restorative workflows is a welcome advantage.

Pay and Benefits:
